As soon as the news has learned that theyre making a movie based on the hunt for a person of interest in the 911, I took an interest in this movie to find out more about the main events. What disappointment.The movie was very slow and uninteresting. Do not get me wrong - I do not come into this expecting a full-scale action film, but at least an interesting story. At first I could not understand what the characters say most of the time because they mumbled words and use special top unfamiliar foreign names, subtitles wouldve been very helpful. Secondly, it was the lack of character development that we just can not relate or even sympathize. Frankly, I think the main focus of character, Maya, is extremely unpleasant and annoying. Yes, she has the determination and that is what Shes worked for all my life, but it lacks emotion, and if she does show emotion, it borders psychopathic B * tch.Many people have commented on and torture scenes, but it does not bother me - what bothered me was how the film was torture.The whole direction and storyline of the movie was so sad that I was amazed at the 95 he scored on Metacritic. And on top of that Oscar nomination? Really? I wish they had just done is actually a documentary based on the real people who were involved in it instead. At the very least, it would be more interesting is written by real people. The film attempts a film based on real events and people, but not a failure, I'd rather just stick to the real facts documentaries and again with 90 minutes not a bang sitting through it for 2 and a half hour. And then two and a half hours of my life that I will never return. * 2 star in dedication to the right people around these events, and hard work. I give 0 to film.
