Most of watching Dead Man Down was hands down the action, Noomi Repace is absolutely spell actress covenant with amazing features like an actress, exhibit in this film. Colin Farrell is in sympathetic activity as Victor However, you have to wonder if the majority of his performance was left on the cutting room floor, as with the rest of the film. As the movie gains momentum within the first 5 minutes, then bogged down with shooting poorly executed that let you stretch your eyes and brain to make it sensitive, but it never does. In fact, the film as a whole is quite a character driven piece that left the audience want to know more clearly the resolutions, instead of wondering in twisted turns that become upset due to the fact that it becomes a film action shoot em up in the third act. Normally, this would be the way to put an end to this type of movie, if it was not character development thus far. The film starts having milk or cookies dilemma. On the one hand, there are those fantastic performances across the board, each scene to give more information about each characters psyche and then there are those epic scenes of action violence. Unfortunately, the film was to say one or the other. It would be smart? It should be an action movie? These are some of the questions you can ask you. Generally, it felt as if the film was confused about what he wanted to be. At the end of the day, Dead Man Down is a film of two 4-star hotel with a stellar performance. The final product is something that is best left as a rental, but definitely worth a watch once.
